  1. Turn on the pan to a medium heat.
  2. Add the 2 tbsp oil and let it heat up.
  3. Add the above tempering to the oil and fry for 2 min. till they turn very light golden color.
  4. Add the chopped onions. Fry till light golden brown.
  5. Add ginger garlic paste (or the minced garlic cloves), chili powder, salt and stir.
  6. Let onions cook thoroughly.
  7. Add tomatoes after they are cooked and let them become a mushy paste.
  8. Add 1/4 of the quarter cut mushrooms into the pot.
  9. Stir all the ingredients in brief intervals.
  10. Add in the coriander powder, sambar powder (can use masala powder as well.
